CBSBH Supports Family Table

Each month, our shul donates a minimum of 25 cans of fruit and 25 bags of dried beans. These are combined with contributions from other synagogues and distributed to food insecure clients throughout the South Shore. Each month a different CBSBH unit assumes responsibility for donation. Jack Levy collects the donations that are sent/taken to the synagogue and delivers them to a distribution center at B’Nai Tikvah in Canton.

There are five ways to contribute:

1.           Donate to Family Table online, through the temple's Donations page.
Choose Family Table in the drop-down menu and let Jack Lecy know the amount so he can track the progress toward our goals.

2.           Send the contribution directly to Jewish Family and Children’s Services by using their Amazon Wish List
PLEASE ALSO LET JACK KNOW WHAT WAS DONATED AND THE $ AMOUNT SO OUR SHUL WILL GET CREDIT. (If neither fruit nor beans are listed as choices please make the donation anyway and send me the name and cost of the donation.)

3.     Order a donation via one's own Amazon account, with delivery to the synagogue during office hours.

4.     Donate money or a supermarket gift card and bring/mail it to the office (mark it for Family Table)

5.     Bring donations to CBSBH where it will be stored until pickup.

Feel free to add to your fruit and beans donation by including other high priority items such as whole grain crackers, whole grain pasta, kosher vegetarian boxes of soup (low-sodium preferred), and canned salmon, or anything else listed on the Amazon Family Table Wish List.  AND ALWAYS LET JACK  KNOW THE AMOUNT AND COST OF THE DONATION so we will get credit for it from JF&CS.

Thanks to members like you our shul has been extremely generous in the past, and we're confident we’ll continue that record.
